IM Marsh - LRC Reopen

The refurbishment at IM Marsh Campus is now complete on the Learning Resource Centre. It re-opens today with a new Student Zone. Why not pop down and have a look around?

Oxford Dictionary of English adds new words

Some of the new words added to the ODE this week include: 'microblogging' - the posting of very short entries on a blog (just like this one). 'social media' - websites and applications used for social networking. 'netbook' - small light laptop. Did you know that each of the Learning resource centres has loan Laptops available! Simply take your LJMU student card to one of the LRC Hubs and our staff will be willing to help.

Moving with the times

With different refurbishment projects underway around the LRCs in preparation for the start of the new academic year, Aldham Robarts LRC and Avril Robarts LRC have had 250 new PCs delivered between them, to replace some of our older student PCs.

CIS service disruption - Sunday 29/08/10 & Sunday 5/9/10

Due to electrical work being carried out by Property Services, there will be loss of service in various building as detailed below.

Shutdown at Aldham Robarts and John Foster buildings will affect the following the whole of the Mount Pleasant Campus.
