Bookable 'SMART' Seminar rooms in all LRCs

Did you know that all of our Learning Resource Centres have Seminar rooms that can be booked, for your use.
There are eight seminar rooms across the three sites with the largest holding groups of upto 60. There are various facilities in the rooms, including interactive SMART boards, large PC connected LCD screens and ceiling mounted projectors.

Book yourself in to rehearse presentations, for brainstorming sessions and group discussions.

Want a book we don't have?

Why not try Interlibrary loans - you can now request these via the Library Catalogue. Log into your Library Account and select "Request Interlibrary loan" - you can get access to full books, chapters from books and journal articles this way.

Summer books due back on 17th Sept

Welcome back, we hope you had a nice summer? Now its time to get back into the swing of things, we thought we should remind you not to forget about your library books. Many of you will have had books out over the summer, these will all be due back on September 17th.

We don't want you to get any late fines so we thought it might be good to check if this includes your own books so that you can either return or renew them in time. If you're returning them, pop in and show off your summer tan, make us all jealous!

We'll try to send courtesy notices the day before your books are due so you don't forget.

Do you know your Zone?

Our LRCs are broken down into different Zones to help you study. If noise doesn’t bother you and you want to have a snack and a drink while you work, choose the Social Zone. If you want a quieter environment choose the Quiet Zone. If you prefer silence choose the Silent Zone.
